From June 26 to August 27, 2025, the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues to accept applications from candidates for the “Daryn” State Youth Prize.
The “Daryn” State Youth Prize is awarded to talented young people in recognition of their outstanding achievements in science, creativity, public service, as well as high sporting accomplishments, with the aim of providing state support to gifted youth.
The competition for the “Daryn” State Youth Prize is held in 10 categories: Literature, Science, Design and Visual Arts, Journalism, Classical Music, Public Service, Sports, Theatre and Cinema, Estrada (Pop Music), and Folk Art.
Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan up to 35 years old are eligible to participate. Candidates should be laureates of international or national competitions, festivals, and various events; prize-winners and winners of national and international sports competitions; or individuals who have contributed to the development of the respective fields and society as a whole.
Candidates for the “Daryn” Youth Prize are nominated by central, local, and other state bodies, public associations, and other legal entities registered in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Winners are awarded the title of “Laureate of the Daryn State Youth Prize” and receive a diploma, a badge, and a monetary award.
The “Daryn” Youth Prize was established in 1992. Since then, more than 360 individuals from various fields have received this award.
Applications for participation in the competition will be accepted from June 26 to August 27, 2025 by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan (in paper format) at the following address:
