Applications continue to be accepted for the competition to award the “Generation of Independence” grant established by the Head of State in Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the grant is to provide state support for new ideas and initiatives aimed at fostering an active community of creative young people. In 2025, 30 grants amounting to 3 million tenge each will be awarded at the national level.
Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan aged 14 to 35 (including those who are 34) are eligible to apply. The grant is awarded on a competitive basis for the implementation of projects in the following six areas:
Science – for implementing new scientific projects and research;
Culture – for carrying out projects aimed at promoting Kazakhstan’s cultural heritage, as well as advancing traditional culture and the arts;
Information Technology – for developing and implementing new IT solutions and projects, including emerging startup initiatives;
Business – for implementing new business ideas;
Media – for launching new media projects, including initiatives focused on producing informative, useful, and engaging content for youth;
Volunteering – for implementing volunteer projects (initiatives) aimed at addressing pressing social issues.
