On August 18, 2025, in Trabzon, Turkey, a meeting of Deputy Ministers of Culture from TURKSOY member states was held.
The meeting was attended by Aibek Sydykov, Vice Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
During the visit, at the invitation of the Turkish side, Vice Minister Sydykov also held meetings with the Governor of Trabzon Province and the heads of local executive bodies.
At the meeting, the Vice Minister highlighted the significant contribution of TURKSOY to the development of cultural cooperation among Turkic-speaking countries. He emphasized the importance of implementing the 2026 action plan and reported on the work carried out within the framework of the “Aktau – 2025 Cultural Capital of the Turkic World” program.
